Bolusanthus speciosus [2]

In November 2004 we had a guest speaker at the club who talked about trees indigenous to South Africa that are appropriate for Bonsai. After the talk we were able to buy the stock that she brought with. I bought this specimen.

It is rather tall, so I will have to cut it shorter and allow it to thicken up. A lot easier than trying to plant another seed don't you think? (Though I have not completely written off that idea.)
