Ficus

Two of our club members passed away at the end of 2003 and they left their trees to the club. At our April meeting, lucky draws were held for the trees and I was fortunate enough to draw this one.

I am not sure what species of fig it is, all I know is that it is a fig as it is resinous and has a stipule ensheathing the growing tip. Two elements that must always be present with figs.

It do not really have any ideas on what to do with this tree so I think that I might sell it or give it away. I am just going to let it grow and see if it develops into anything that I (or anybody else) might be able to work with.
